Case study

This internal project began as a small-scale automation task and evolved into a broader messaging and workflow assistant for MS Teams. The goal was to automate the sending of scheduled messages based on a variety of conditions - such as calendar events, day of the week, and holiday schedules—targeting specific channels across different Teams workspaces.

I used Microsoft Power Automate to build these flows, handling both scheduled and event-driven triggers. Depending on context, messages were either posted in Teams channels or sent as fallback emails.

As a side effect of this work, I also implemented a related automation that converted incoming emails in Outlook into Jira tickets, helping reduce manual effort and ticketing delays for a specific support workflow.

It wasn’t a traditional coding challenge, but I stepped in, figured it out, and built something that worked.
